Wisebuys Country Stores in Pembroke have thanked all their “wonderful customers” for helping them raise £750 for Greenacres Rescue.<br/>The idea first started after seeing an appeal for donations by the local animal charity which has been so overwhelmed with vet fees and a massive influx of animals.<br/>“We are huge animal lovers here at Wisebuys, so we came up with some ideas and got busy,” said a spokesperson. <br/>“We had a raffle running the whole month of March to win massive sweety/chocolate easter hamper. <br/>Staff also held a fun fundraising week where they all dressed up in fancy dress. <br/>“We had a lucky dip and face painter Sharon Clague, who was also a very lovely Easter bunny.”
