Description: This video was made as part of a residency in October 2012 at CMR, Redruth - Cornwall. Inspired by the work of John Cage, I responded to the windows, blinds, floor space, light and my body in space. Through spontaneous gesture, repetitive actions, movement and noise, I drew upon John Cage’s legacy of ‘chance’, ‘duration’ and ‘Zen’ to perform exercises in mind control as well as physical activity. nThe window blinds separate the inside from outside, public from private.
