Some coverage of the Puratassi Govinden Celebrations at the Parama Bhakta Suguna Vilasa Bhajana Sangham in Port- Louis. Govinden was first celebrated there, collective in the early 1900s and since then it has spread across the island with nearly all temples organising the festival. At Parama Bhakta, an elaborate Homam and Abhishekam is performed in the morning followed by Aradhanai. Then in the evening, there is a beautiful Cultural Programme, showcasing several professional and amateur artists.
